Together with the Danish Arrow Architects, Skanska has started the construction of a new office complex in Budapest. H2Offices is ready for the challenges that may arise in the coming period.
In the heart of the office complex, which consists of three buildings, there is a garden serving as an oasis in a busy urban area. Thanks to smart rain and soil water management, H2Offices will use one of the most valuable natural resources in a sustainable way.
A total of 65,000 sqm of office space will be available for tenants. As with other recent Skanska projects, H2Offices will be equipped with the smart Connected by Skanska operating system. The complex will also include a rooftop running track with a view over the city.
“As a result of the pandemic, there is a strong emphasis on office choice. Tenants are looking for futureproof office buildings that will adapt well to changing circumstances. In H2Offices, health security, human-centeredness, sustainability and innovation are going hand in hand.” – said Alexandra Tomášková, EVP Operations Hungary & Czech Republic at Skanska’s commercial development business unit in CEE.
Construction works have started and the building is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2022.
