The 21st year of prestigious Czech real estate competition The Best of Realty 2019 was carried off by two Prague and one Brno project. Who was the winner and how did it gain the jury's interest?
“This year we had a number of high-quality projects from Prague and the Czech and Moravian regions among the nominations, so it was not easy for the jury to decide on the winners,” said Tomáš Drtina, chairman of the expert jury of The Best of Realty competition.
The jury evaluated the building according to architectural and urban solutions, successes in the real estate market, respect for the environment and also the way in which real estate contributed to the development of the area.
3rd Place: Vlněna Office Park, Brno
The third place went to buildings A and B of the Brno's Vlněna Office Park, designed and created by CTP Invest and Studio Acht. The interior was made by Vos interiors.
2nd Place: Churchill, Prague 2
The second place was awarded to the Prague office complex Churchill, which also won the Public Readers Award. The authors of the project are Jakub Cigler Architekti and Aukett. The interior was designed by Atelier Kunc Architects.
1st Place: Praga Studios, Prague 8
The winner in the category of new administrative centers appealed to the jury by its sustainability, high representation of modern technologies and commercial success. “It is an exceptional building not only in the Czech Republic, but also in the whole of Central Europe,” the jury comments. The project Praga Studios comes from Skanska and ADNS architects.
