A Robot Monitoring Box Reigns in a Marathon of Innovative Ideas

Those were just a few of the challenges faced by a total of 18 teams within the first Czech hackathon focused on the Industrial Internet of Things. Construction made by robots. It will replace four bricklayers

Sooner than you might think – in 2018 there will be the first construction built entirely by robots, not human bricklayers. Team lead by Štěpán Kočí (situated in Strančice near Prague) is now in the final phase of development of the special robotic arm that will be able not only to put bricks on each other, but also to plaster the wall and then to paint it. The construction speed is approximately 40 minutes to build a wall of seven metres long and two metres high.
