The fifth-annual jubilee anniversary of the CBRE Meeting Room of the Year competition set a new record of participants. This year, 101 has registered to take part in the CBRE Meeting Room of the Year Project and the jury has selected 44 finalists. IT companies and companies from Prague represent the most of them, there are also 4 coworking centres among them.
Petra Hubačová founded one of the first coworkings in Prague as early as in 2009 and has engaged in interconnecting start-ups and corporations for many years now. Thus, it was no surprise that the Polish coworking chain Business Link chose her to open its first Czech branches in Holešovice.
In October, the extensive reconstruction of the Prague headquarters of KPMG in Florence was completed. In the course of the full operation of the building, 520 tons of debris was lost within 12 months, and a central staircase connecting the individual floors, a client zone with a view of the centre of Prague, or a meeting room for informal staff were added.
At the beginning of October, the Polish Matador Business Link opened his first Czech coworking centre. It offers shared and private offices with outdoor sports facilities in the Visionary office building. There are other branches to be opened in Budapest or Bucharest.
Deciding on the winners of the 26th year of the nationwide "Building of the Year" competition goes into the final. Simultaneously with the judging of the jury, the public can also choose its winner. Which of the office buildings is your favourite winner?
Visionary office building in Holešovice in Prague opened its doors to the public at the end of August. Visitors had the opportunity not only to inspect the building, but also to test the runway on the roof and the nearby playground.
