Coworking especially draws in people from IT, both freelancers and employees. And flexible offices are also of growing importance for companies that have just entered the Czech market, says Jana Gerhátová, manager of the Czech branch of Business Link, a working space provider.
The Praga Studios administrative building in the Karlín district of Prague is now equipped with the most state-of-the-art parking system in the Czech Republic. The solution for the Skanska project, which has been named the second greenest office building in Europe, was developed in collaboration with Skanska by Sharry Europe.
Last year the Prague office of Booking.com moved to the new address Na Příkopě 14, which will serve the Czech and Slovak markets. New space offers designed offices for up to 36 employees working on 600 square meters.
Coworking giant Spaces opened its first location in the Czech Republic in October. It's housed within an elegant building Albatros on the historic Narodni Street in Prague covering 3.500 sqm on 8 floors and offering more than 400 work stations.
