The glazed atrium covers several cascading floors and reaches an incredible 42 meters at the highest point. Visitors of the building can see literally under the pens and into the keyboards of journalists thanks to the meeting bridge.
The new Axel Springer office building in Berlin is the last of the company's campus. It stands opposite the headquarters of the media house - Zimmerstrasse, which used to divide Berlin into an eastern and western half. According to the authors of the design, the architectural office OMA, the building symbolizes the transition of Axel Springer from print to digital media.
