One thing is certain. The post-coronavirus era will bring changes to the work environment and one of them may be increased safety measures. One of them is the MEDICAS thermal camera, which is said to be able to detect an infected colleague as soon as he enters the building.

The author of the "miracle" thermal camera is Workswell, and this is their respond to the increased risk of spreading infectious diseases. Their thermal imager makes it possible to measure the surface temperature of human skin and thus detect an elevated temperature with an accuracy of 0.03 ° C. As we know, it is the change in body temperature that is one of the first indicators of an outbreak.

Thanks to continuous recalibration with the help of a black body, the system is able to detect even small temperature changes in humans with high accuracy. The risk of spreading not only coronaviruses, but any other infectious diseases in the workplace could thus be almost eradicated with this gadget.
