How Does Co-working in a Former Distillery Look Like ?

Gallery July 30, 2018  |  Text by Petra Baumruková Text by Petra Baumruková

Industry enthusiasts enjoy recently completed project The Distillery: Social Reactor in Brno. The four-story building, which was part of the distillery factory in the 19th century, was transformed to a place for co-working and events by the KOGAA Architectural Studio.

One of the most impactive structural interventions was carried out at the second and third level of the building, where the central beam system was removed to create a double height hall and two balconies facing the central space. The former is meant for presentations, lectures, and workshops, while the upper balconies are dedicated to designers’ ateliers and offices.

Take a look at how the transformation succeeded in the photo gallery.
