How Has KPMG Changed After a Year of Renovation?

In October, the extensive reconstruction of the Prague headquarters of KPMG in Florence was completed. In the course of the full operation of the building, 520 tons of debris was lost within 12 months, and a central staircase connecting the individual floors, a client zone with a view of the centre of Prague, or a meeting room for informal staff were added.

Former Praga Car Repair Shop is Transforming into a Place For Work and Culture

Praga Studios project is situated in Prague 8 and it is a final stage of the conversion of former ČKD industrial plant into an office complex. Project is in accordance with Ricardo Bofill master plan by creating a new street through large urban block. The construction will connect the streets of Pernerova and Křižíkova and create a new busy area in the heart of Karlín district.

Construction made by robots. It will replace four bricklayers

Sooner than you might think – in 2018 there will be the first construction built entirely by robots, not human bricklayers. Team lead by Štěpán Kočí (situated in Strančice near Prague) is now in the final phase of development of the special robotic arm that will be able not only to put bricks on each other, but also to plaster the wall and then to paint it. The construction speed is approximately 40 minutes to build a wall of seven metres long and two metres high.
