Skanska completes the Parkview office building. The project, from a studio of architects from New York, puts the finishing touches to the Pankrác Plain in Prague and it offers a total of 16,000 sqm of space over nine floors.
Parkview comes from the New York architectural studio of Richard Meier & Partners, with which Skanska previously worked on the neighbouring City Green Court building. The new building is adorned with a pure white façade, from which balconies with views of the park and of Prague jut out from the second to eight floors.
Greenery is placed throughout the building so as to generate a pleasant environment for work and relax. There is a sunken island full of vegetation in the middle of the atrium, with a light cloud designed by artist Marek Číhal floating above. Benches from unique recycled concrete, so-called rebetong, will be placed around the complex and on the rooftop terrace.
